Vegan and gluten-free cakes in Bengaluru
Every cake we bake can be made vegan, gluten free, eggless, or with extra nuts and seeds or a jaggery-and-date sweetness. You choose per cake, and the price for each is shown before you order.
Made that way, not adapted
Each option is a different recipe rather than the normal cake with something removed. That matters most for the eggless and vegan versions: take the eggs out of a fruit cake and it falls apart, so those are built differently from the start to hold together and stay moist.
What each option changes
Eggless
Its own recipe, same price as the egg version. This is the most-ordered option we have, and the one people are most suspicious of until they try it.
Vegan
No eggs and no dairy. Plant butter in place of the butter, and the same soaked fruit doing the heavy lifting on flavour.
Gluten free
Baked without wheat flour. Please read the note below before ordering this one, because the honest answer about our kitchen matters more than the sale.
Extra nuts and seeds
More nuts and seeds, less sweetness. The same cake with a bit more to chew on.
Jaggery and date sweetened
Jaggery and dates in place of some of the sugar, leaning on the fruit for sweetness. Noticeably less sweet, and not artificially so.
The honest bit about our kitchen
We would rather lose an order than have someone assume a guarantee we cannot make. If a reaction would be serious, message us first and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right people to bake for you.
Mix them in one order
Options are chosen per cake, not per order. A vegan plum cake for one person, a gluten-free fruit cake for another and a regular one for the table can all go in a single order and arrive together on the day you pick.

The same price for everyone, always. Eggless costs the same as egg, because nobody should pay extra to eat with their family.
How ordering works
- Pick your cakes and sizes. One order can hold different cakes, each with its own size and options.
- Choose any option you want on each cake: eggless, vegan, gluten free, extra nuts and seeds or a jaggery-and-date sweetness.
- Pick a delivery day from the calendar. Whatever you order arrives together, on that one day.
- Pay online. We bake for that morning and one of us brings it to your door.
We hand deliver across the Bengaluru pincodes we cover, up to three cakes a day. Pick a delivery time when you order; same day if one is still open, since every time needs at least three hours' notice to bake, otherwise the earliest is tomorrow.
Questions people ask
Is the gluten-free cake safe for coeliac disease?
We cannot promise that. The cake is baked without wheat flour, but our kitchen handles wheat and nuts, so traces are possible. If you are coeliac or have a serious allergy, please message us before ordering and we will be straight with you about what we can and cannot control.
Does vegan cost more?
A little. Eggless costs the same as egg either way, but vegan is its own recipe with plant butter in place of dairy, so it carries a small addition. You will see the exact amount before you order.
Can I mix options in one order?
Yes, and this is the part most people are surprised by. One order can hold a vegan plum cake, a gluten-free fruit cake and a regular one, each chosen separately, all arriving on the same day.
What does the extra nuts and seeds option change?
More nuts and seeds folded through, and a little less sweetness. Same recipe, just a bit more to chew on.
What does jaggery and date sweetened mean?
The sweetness leans on the soaked fruit, with jaggery and dates in place of some of the sugar. It tastes less sweet, not artificially so.
