Sihi Studio is a small Bengaluru cake studio. We make thirty cakes a month — a Fruit Cake and a Plum Cake — and sell them through a simple monthly queue. These terms explain, in plain English, how that works and what you can expect from us.

1. How the queue and allocation work

Each month we open a drop — a batch of thirty cakes. While the drop window is open, anyone with a verified phone number can join the queue.
Your place in the queue is simply the order in which you joined. First come, first served. One active queue place per person per drop.
When it is your turn, you choose your cake and size, tell us your Bengaluru pincode, and pick a free delivery day. Your turn is time-limited; if it lapses, the next person is invited in.
There is no bidding of any kind. Every cake has a fixed, published price (₹1,000–₹3,000 depending on cake and size), the same for everyone, always.

2. Holds, payment, and confirmation

Choosing a delivery day places a temporary hold on that day and your cake for approximately 10 minutes while you pay.
Your order is confirmed only after your payment succeeds. Until then, nothing is final and you have not been charged by us.
If payment fails or the hold expires, your cake and delivery day are automatically released back for the next person in the queue. You are not charged for a failed or abandoned payment.
Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, card, or netbanking). We never see or store your card details.

3. Delivery

We deliver by hand, one cake per day, within serviceable Bengaluru pincodes only. If your pincode isn’t serviceable yet, you can leave your details and we’ll tell you when it is.
Each delivery day can be booked by exactly one order. Once a day is paid for, it is off the board for everyone else.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel a confirmed order up to 48 hours before your delivery day for a full refund to your original payment method. After that, the cake is already being made for you and we can no longer cancel it. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details and timelines.

5. About alcohol

Plum Cake with-spirit variants contain alcohol and are intended for adults (18+). The Fruit Cake contains no alcohol.

With-spirit variants are clearly labelled on the storefront, at checkout, on your confirmation, and on the cake’s packaging.

6. Fair use

The queue exists so that everyone gets the same fair chance. We may remove queue entries or cancel orders that attempt to game the queue (for example, automated joining or multiple simultaneous entries), with any captured payment refunded in full.
