From a 500g loaf to a 1.5kg festive tin, every price sits between ₹1,000 and ₹3,000. The same fair price for everyone, on purpose.

The Fruit Cake

Dried fruit and nuts soaked for weeks, warm spice, a soft honest crumb. People tell us it tastes like their grandmother’s. We take that as the highest compliment there is.

    Payment locks it in. If it doesn’t go through, the cake quietly returns to the queue for the next person.

It started with one recipe and a lot of patience

Sihi Studio is small on purpose. Thirty cakes a month is what one pair of hands can make the way we believe in: fruit soaked for weeks, batter folded by hand, every cake watched over like it’s going to someone we love. Because it is.

“Sihi” just means sweet. We thought that was the whole point.

One cake lands at a 21st birthday full of noise and candles. Another sits at the centre of a quiet table where someone turns seventy and remembers every Christmas that ever mattered. The cake is the same one. The care is too.

Things people ask us

The questions that come up most before a first cake.

Are the cakes really homemade?

Yes. Every cake is made by hand in one small Bengaluru kitchen, thirty a month. Nothing is outsourced and nothing comes off a production line.

Why do they cost ₹1,000 to ₹3,000?

Good dried fruit, real nuts, proper butter, weeks of soaking, and a delivery we make ourselves. The prices are fixed on purpose, so everyone pays the same, whoever the cake is for.

Do the cakes contain alcohol?

The Fruit Cake never does. The Plum Cake comes two ways: family-friendly with no alcohol at all, or with a little spirit, clearly labelled and meant for adults (18+).

Is there an eggless option?

Yes. Both cakes come with egg or eggless, at the same price, and we give the eggless one the same weeks of soaking and care. You pick when it's your turn in the queue.

Can you tell me exactly what's in each cake?

Always. The allergen list for both cakes is published right on this page, and if you message us we'll happily walk through the full ingredient list for either cake.

How does the monthly drop work?

Once a month we open a small queue. Your place is the order you arrive in. When your turn comes you choose your cake and a delivery day, then pay to make it yours. Everyone pays the same fixed price.

Where do you deliver, and what if I miss out?

We deliver across Bengaluru ourselves, in a booked time window. If you miss a drop you're first in line for the next one, and we'll send a small thank-you to your inbox.

The Fruit Cake

  • Egg whole eggs in the with-egg version; the eggless version has none in the batter
  • Tree nuts pecans, macadamia nuts and almonds
  • Sulphites golden raisins, dried apricots and the fruit-juice soak
  • Corn baking powder and powdered sugar carry cornstarch
  • Citrus lemon and orange juice, fresh zest, candied peels
  • Stone fruit glacé cherries and dried apricots

The Plum Cake

  • Gluten / wheat all-purpose flour
  • Dairy butter
  • Egg whole eggs in the with-egg version; the eggless version has none in the batter
  • Tree nuts cashews
  • Sulphites golden raisins, dried apricots and the soak
  • Corn baking powder and powdered sugar carry cornstarch
  • Citrus lemon and orange juice, fresh zest, candied peels
  • Stone fruit glacé cherries and dried apricots

The with-spirit variants soak in dark rum, cognac and Grand Marnier. They contain alcohol and are intended for adults (18+). Family-friendly Plum Cakes soak in fresh fruit juice instead: apple, dark grape or orange, depending on what’s freshest that month.

Every cake is made in one home kitchen that handles nuts, wheat, egg, dairy and dried-fruit sulphites, so we can’t promise any cake is completely free from traces. If you have a serious allergy, please message us before ordering. You can also leave a note for the baker at checkout.
